AceShowbiz - Ne-Yo and new wife Crystal Renay welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on Tuesday, March 15. Their newborn baby, named Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. after his dad, was born a few weeks after his due date.
Earlier on Tuesday, Crystal shared on Snapchat a video, which she later reposted on Instagram, featuring herself in a hospital, probably hinting that she was waiting for the baby's arrival. The clip showed her in a hospital room as she said, "So I come to the hospital today because I think there's something... I think there's something wrong with my eyes," while pouting her lips at the camera. "On Snap bored as heck waiting on SJ to make his entrance ? Mscrystalrenay," she captioned the 15-second video. She also posted another photo showing her baby bump.
Neither of them has officially announced the birth of their little one, but The Shade Room gave fans a look at the baby boy as it uploaded on Instagram a photo of Crystal lying on a bed with her cute boy resting on her chest. "Congrats to #NeYo &#CrystalRenay on the birth of their baby boy!" so read the caption of the photo.
On the previous day, Crystal uploaded a photo of herself flaunting her growing bump while wearing a cropped tube top. Meanwhile, her husband Ne-Yo was seen bending on his knees as he stared at his lovely lady. "I began this journey with you and here we are at the finish line stronger than ever TOGETHER! I feel so blessed and frightened at the same time but I know that God and you have my back," Crystal captioned the photo.
The couple tied the knot back on February 20 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles. The boy is Crystal's first child with her new hubby, who already shares a daughter and son with his ex-fiancee Monyetta Shaw.
