Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo, Viola Davis and Shonda Rhimes herself star in new video to voice their support for the Democratic presidential candidate.

AceShowbiz - Guess who have just publicly supported Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton? They're Shondaland female leads Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo and Viola Davis as well as Shonda Rhimes. All three actresses and their shows' producer appear in a campaign ad that was debuted during ABC's "Thank God It's Thursday" lineup.
"Every day I wake up and play a brilliant, complex, over-qualified, get-it-done woman who obsessively fights for justice; who cares; who gives a voice to the voiceless; who gets knocked down and always gets back up," Washington, Pompeo and Davis say.
Rhimes adds, "I make television filled with the kind of characters I imagine we all can be." Davis and Pompeo continue, "Strong, but flawed; human, but extraordinary." Washington says, "Our characters are on television," before each of the ladies adds, "but the real world has Hillary Clinton." Rhimes says, "That's why I'm with Hillary," which is echoed by the "Scandal", "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" stars.
The ad titled "Real Life" was directed by "Scandal" actor Tony Goldwyn.
