Halle Berry Eyed for 'Kingsman 2'. Find Out Whom She May Play

The 'Extant' actress could portray the head of the CIA in the upcoming sequel, which is due out in the U.S. in June 2017, as well as in the third 'Kingsman' film.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry is wanted for 20th Century Fox's "Kingsman: The Secret Service 2". Deadline has just revealed that the 49-year-old actress is currently in talks to star in the movie as the head of the CIA. Should she sign on, she's expected to appear in the third "Kingsman" film as well.

Matthew Vaughn has been confirmed to return behind the lens and co-write the script with Jane Goldman for the upcoming movie. Plot details are still scarce, but the picture is already set for a June 16, 2017 release in the U.S.

Taron Egerton is back to reprise his role as as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin, who is now a fully-trained secret agent. Julianne Moore is considered to join the cast as the sequel's villain. It's, however, still unclear if Colin Firth and Mark Strong who starred in the first film would return to its follow-up.

The first "Kingsman" movie, based on the comic book "The Secret Service" created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, came out last year and surprisingly grossed $415 million worldwide. Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine were other names attached to the project.
