Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman Reteam for 'Significant Other'

Bateman, who has starred alongside Aniston in a number of comedy films like 'The Switch' and 'Horrible Bosses', will also direct the upcoming project.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aniston is linking up with Jason Bateman again for another comedy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two are set to star in "Significant Other" which has been picked up by STX Entertainment.

In the flick, the actress will play a successful type-A businesswoman who is in the final stages of being recruited for a major CEO position. Before she gets the job, her company wants to meet her spouse, a messy stay-at-home husband played by Bateman.

The actor will also direct the project and serve as a producer, while Aniston is executive producing. Andrea Siegel, the scribe behind Keira Knightley, Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell's "Laggies", is hired to write the script.

Aniston and Bateman have worked together on several films in the past, including "The Switch" as well as "Horrible Bosses" and its follow-up. They're also reuniting in another comedy titled "Office Christmas Party" which will also star Kate McKinnon, T.J. Miller and Randall Park.
