As Ginger reveals she will be partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, the likes of Marla Maples, Von Miller and Geraldo Rivera are reported to join the dancing competition as well.

AceShowbiz - Ginger Zee is the next star confirmed for "Dancing with the Stars" season 22. Just a few days after rumors of her participation emerged, the "Good Morning America" weather anchor told ET that she's indeed joining the ABC reality show.

"[Joining the show] now makes just as much sense as any other time in my life, I think even more so because I'm going to come back to work," said the 35-year-old, who will be back to her post on "GMA" on March 14 after taking a maternity leave last December.

As reported before, Ginger will be partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, whom she said was "so supportive." Val admitted, "The schedule's going to be a little tough, especially with having to travel back and forth between Los Angeles and New York. She has to do a morning show every single day so that's going to be tough, but -- Ginger wants to do it, I want to help in any way possible and I think we're going to make it work!"

Nearing the announcement of the official cast line-up, more names have emerged as potential celebrity contestants this season. They include Donald Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples, Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, former "The Celebrity Apprentice" contestant Geraldo Rivera, Steelers wideout Antonio Brown and former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie. They join previously rumored contestant Mischa Barton, who may dance with Artem Chigvintsev.

Meanwhile, "Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin has confirmed she will compete on the show, paired with Keo Motsepe.

The full cast will be announced Tuesday, March 8 on "GMA". The new season of "DWTS" will kick off March 21 on ABC.
