The Disney animation is expected to make a strong opening this weekend and kick the R-rated movie out of the box office's first place.

AceShowbiz - It looks like "Deadpool" 's winning streak is going to end next week. The stand-alone "X-Men" movie has met its match in Disney's animation "Zootopia", which is expected to open to $60 million in North America this weekend.

"Zootopia" follows the adventures of a rabbit cop and a con-man fox, two natural enemies, who team up in a modern mammal metropolis. Voice actors include Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin and Idris Elba. The movie has received glowing reviews with a 100|percent| "fresh" rating from Rotten Tomatoes.

"Deadpool" has occupied the first place in the box office since it was released on February 12. This past weekend, the Ryan Reynolds-starring pic added $31.5 million for a total domestic revenue of $285.6 million. It is poised to surpass "The Passion of the Christ" as the second highest R-rated film of all time behind "American Sniper" when it gains an estimated $20 million this weekend.

Meanwhile, big-budgeted action fantasy "Gods of Egypt" is expected to drop in position especially with the competition from such strong newcomers. Tina Fey's comedy "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" is expected to bring in $12 million for the weekend. And with the Oscars already handed out this past Sunday, "Spotlight" and "The Revenant" are bound to push through.
