Madonna and Guy Ritchie Are Ready for Court Battle Over Custody of Their Son Rocco

The 'Rebel Heart' hitmaker will square off her ex-husband in court on Wednesday, March 2 over custody of their 15-year-old son Rocco.

AceShowbiz - Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie are set to battle in court on Wednesday, March 2 over custody of their 15-year-old son Rocco, TMZ reports. According to the site, the "La Isla Bonita" hitmaker has changed her strategy to get her son back.

Madonna's initial strategy to get Rocco back was reportedly to trash Guy's parenting skills. The "Like a Virgin" songstress believes her ex-husband's way too permissive and their son suffers as a result. Sources close to the singer tell the site "she is an extremely strict and controlling parent ... which often benefits the boy, but at the same time pisses him off."

Now, rather than trying to force Rocco back to the U.S., Madonna is allegedly trying to win her son back by proclaiming her love through social media. A source claims, "She always has to be right. It's her nature. She and Guy have disagreed on every [child rearing] decision they talk about, and it's made her feel like he's a bad parent."

Rocco will have a voice in where he ends up living, with his mother or his father.
