AceShowbiz - It has been a sad week for Salma Hayek. The "Frida" actress is mourning the death of her beloved dog Mozart. She took to Instagram on Friday, February 26 to share a photo of Mozart lying on the green grass along with a lengthy message.
"I haven't posted for a week as I been mourning the death of my dog, Mozart who I personally delivered out of his mother's womb," the "Grown Ups 2" actress wrote, "He was found dead in my ranch last Friday with a shot close to his heart."
She continued, "I am hoping that the Washington State authorities do justice to this wonderful dog whom in 9 years never bit or attacked anyone. He loved his territory and never strayed away...he was the most loving and loyal companion. He didn't deserve a slow and painful death. #doglover #animalrights #dog #dogoftheday #rip #delivery #washingtonstateauthorities."
Salma's fans expressed their condolences in the comment section. One fan wrote, "This breaks my heart....I am sorry for your loss. My dog means the world to me. RIP Mozart." A second fan posted, "RIP Mozart. @salmahayek I'm very sorry for your loss. I do pray authorities find the responsible POS and do the needful... Very sorry again... Stay strong and fight for justice for Mozart #justiceforMozart."
Salma then thanked her fans for their support, writing, "Thank you everyone for your moral support. It is being helpful to see that all of you identified with my indignation and also found it shocking how people find it easy and in some cases amusing to kill or torture animals."
