GaGa said she admired Kesha's bravery while Iggy Azalea criticized the judge's decision to keep the 'We R Who We R' singer within Dr. Luke's label.

AceShowbiz - Ever since Kesha (formerly Ke$ha) received the devastating court ruling on Friday, February 19, stars have been standing behind the "Tick Tock" hitmaker in support. Lady GaGa, Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson are among those who sent their sympathy for Kesha who failed to escape her recording contract with longtime producer Dr. Luke.

Kesha filed lawsuit against Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, in 2014 and alleged that he sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally assaulted her for years. Luke filed a countersuit, stating Kesha and her manager planned to extort him. His lawsuit was dismissed earlier this month. In the Friday ruling, NY Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich said there's not enough medical evidence to prove the assaults.

Fans gathered outside the court in support of the singer, holding signs like "Free Kesha". Celebrities also rallied behind her via social media. "There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery," GaGa tweeted. Lorde wrote, "standing with @KeshaRose through this traumatic, deeply unfair time. send good vibes her way everyone."

Iggy Azalea criticized the judge ruling, tweeting, "Im not accusing anyone of anything, but i believe Kesha deserves the ability to move forward, create and earn a living. If two people dont want to be in business with one another it seems very cruel for one to hold the other in a contract." Clarkson tweeted, "Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke."

Grande, who has a problem with her label herself, tweeted, "My heart is with @KeshaRose." Lily Allen said on her tweet, "My thoughts are with @KeshaRose today. I'm sorry you've had to endure this experience." JoJo, who relates to the experience, wrote, "I don't know all the facts, of course, but the bottom line is: it is a terrible feeling to not own your voice/ be able to release music."

The supporting tweets also came from people not in the music industry. Director Jon M. Chu, actress Rose McGowan and comedian Margaret Cho also extended their support. Kesha responded to the #freekesha campaign by tweeting, "thank you for all the support in my legal case animals. i love all of you. it's meant the world to me. Xoxo."
