Showtime has unveiled the official trailer for its highly-anticipated musical series created by the 'Aloha' director.

AceShowbiz - Showtime has released the official trailer for its highly-anticipated musical series created by Cameron Crowe "Roadies". Hitting YouTube on Friday, February 12, the trailer features the song "Hard Sun" performed by Grammy and Golden Globe winner Eddie Vedder.

Starring Luke Wilson and Carla Gugino, "Roadies" follows the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of "roadies" who live for music and the de facto family they've formed along the way.

The series chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music's unsung heroes and pays tribute to the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the U.S. for the successful arena-level group, The Staton-House Band.

"Roadies" will begin production on ten episodes in March. Other stars included Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Machine Gun Kelly and Ron White. Meanwhile, Luis Guzman, Jacqueline Byers, Finesse Mitchell, Branscombe Richmond and Tanc Sade will make guest appearances.

Cameron is directing the pilot. He will serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams and Winnie Holzman, Bad Robot's Bryan Burk and Len Goldstein.
