The ninth installment of the action movie franchise will arrive in 2019, while the tenth film is slated for 2021.

AceShowbiz - "Fast and Furious 8" has not even been filmed yet, but Universal Pictures has already planned two more sequels. As a concrete proof of these plans, the studio has set the release dates of "Fast and Furious 9" and "Fast and Furious 10" which the franchise's star Vin Diesel just revealed via Instagram.
With an image he posted on Tuesday night, February 2, the hunky actor announced that the ninth "Fast and Furious" movie would arrive on April 19, 2019, while the tenth installment is due on April 2, 2021. Fans were excited to learn the news, as one of Diesel's followers commented, "And we'll be there to watch them all @vindiesel !"
Diesel, who is currently busy training to prepare for the filming of "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage", previously teased the news with another Instagram post. "Xander returns.... As most of you know I like to stay in character for the most part when given the opportunity to make magic. However, it was Toretto Tuesday and the studio gave me big news to share... So I will share it...," he wrote in a caption of a picture showing him shirtless while holding a skateboard.
Diesel is also set to reprise his role as Dominic Toretto in "Fast and Furious 8", which is set for a U.S. release on April 14, 2017. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham and Kurt Russell will also star in the film, which has F. Gary Gray on board as director.
