Both songs he performed during the Adam Driver-hosted episode were featured on his acclaimed debut album 'Traveller' which is currently up for Album of the Year Award at next month's Grammys.

AceShowbiz - Chris Stapleton paid his first-ever visit to "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, November 16. The rising country singer served as a musical guest in the episode hosted by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor Adam Driver.

During his appearance on the long-running comedy show, Stapleton treated viewers to live renditions of "Parachute" and "Nobody to Blame" off his acclaimed debut album, "Traveller". Dressed in all-black and a cowboy hat, he's joined on the stage by a band that included his wife Morgane, harmonica player Mickey Raphael and producer Dave Cobb.

Stapleton was thrust into spotlight following his unexpected wins at the 2015 CMA Awards last November. At that time, he won New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for "Traveller". The record, which was released in May last year, jumped to No. 1 on Billboard 200 after the awards show.

Stapleton is now being nominated in four categories at next month's Grammy Awards. He's up for Best Country Album and the coveted Album of the Year for "Traveller" as well as Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for the album's title track.
