In the videogame's playthrough, Kylo Ren appears to call Rey his cousin, confirming that the heroine is the daughter of Luke Skywalker, who is indeed Kylo's uncle.

AceShowbiz - "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" leaves numerous things unanswered and the biggest secret fans most curious about is Rey's (Daisy Ridley) familial status. Though scriptwriter Lawrence Kasdan previously revealed that mysteries about each hero in the movie would be unveiled in "Star Wars Episode VIII" and "Star Wars Episode IX", fans may get the answer earlier.

A gameplay from the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Disney Infinity game may have just revealed who exactly Rey is. If you watch the video, around the 20:30 mark, in which Rey is fighting against Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Kylo seems to shout "Face me, cousin!" It may surprise the audience, considering that there is no familial relationship between the two has been addresses in the film.

Just like what Kasdan said, "Episode VIII" is set to reveal Rey as the daughter of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), who turns out to be Kylo's uncle. The revelation somehow makes sense because in "The Force Awakens", Kylo is revealed to have been the son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), Luke's sister.

While many believe that Luke is Rey's father, some of them speculate that Rey is the daughter of Han and Leia. People say that Rey may be Kylo's sister after all, but Han and Leia refuse to tell her they're her parents. As for which one is correct, it remains to be seen.

"The Force Awakens" hit theaters on December 18. The movie had a record-breaking opening, launching to $247 million at the domestic box office for a global total of $529 million.
