Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie and Lupita Nyong'o team up with the 'Tonight Show' host and The Roots for an epic medley of the franchise themes.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Fallon channelled his sci-fi movie geek side in a segment on "The Tonight Show" airing on Tuesday night, December 15. Just in time for the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", the comedian teamed up with his show's band The Roots and the movie cast to perform the franchise's classic themes a cappella.

Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie and Lupita Nyong'o took part in the epic medley. Even the movie's iconic characters such as Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8 made appearances in the clip.

Later, toward the end of the video, the original stars of the "Star Wars" movie series, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, joined in on the fun, much to the delight of fans.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens", directed by J.J. Abrams, opens in theaters across the nation on December 18.
