Get New Details on 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Villains
Movie

While in the original 'Star Wars' trilogy the good guys and the bad guys were clear, the truth about the real villain in the upcoming installment is still blurry.

AceShowbiz - Who's the real bad guy in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"? In the original "Star Wars" trilogy the good guys and the bad guys were clear, but the truth about the real villain in the upcoming installment is still blurry.

PEOPLE now offers new details about the movie's villains. Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis each discusses their evil alter egos Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, General Hux and Supreme Leader Snoke in an interview with the mag.

Adam says of Kylo Ren, "We didn't really have a lot of conversations about bad or evil, actually, when we were shooting it. It was more what do you think is the difference between being bad and being right, which I think is a huge difference ... That's almost more evil, a group of people who decide that they're morally justified for behaving a certain way. That's how we kind of approached it and less like a bad person."

Gwendoline describes Captain Phasma as "a Boba Fett-style character, striking and in command but not at the very forefront of the action always." The "Game of Thrones" star adds, "Other than that, all I can say is that she is badass."

Domhnall understates General Hux's obsession with power as he jockeys against Kylo. "I think General Hux would just like a little bit more order in the universe," the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" actor shares, "Whatever it takes is where he's at."

Andy, meanwhile, says of the still-unseen Supreme Leader Snoke, "All I can say is that I'm involved in it." But Neal Scanlan, chief of creature and droid effects, tells the mag about Andy's character, "This character is much better executed as a CGI character. That's just a practical reality when he's 7-foot-something tall; he's very, very thin."
