A New Member? Constantine May Join 'Legends of Tomorrow' in Season 2
TV

Words are, Matt Ryan's John Constantine will appear as a series regular when the show switches casts and missions in the second season.

AceShowbiz - Constantine may have more screen time despite the cancellation of the NBC show and following his guest-starring appearance on "Arrow". Latest report says the occult detective could join The CW's upcoming "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" as a member of the titular team.

According to Bleeding Cool, Matt Ryan will be added as a series regular in 2017's season 2 of the upcoming series and will reprise his role as John Constantine. This may happen as the show is reportedly planning to "radically switch casts and missions each season," in the vein of "Justice League Unlimited" cartoon.

A source also tells the site that "The Vampire Diaries" alum Steven R. McQueen will be added to the cast for season 2 as another new hero. McQueen has a recurring role on "Chicago Fire" following his exit from "The Vampire Diaries".

Since "Legends of Tomorrow" season 1 has not even premiered yet and no season 2 is officially commissioned as of now, these casting rumors are a bit premature and fans should take them with a grain of salt.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere January 21, 2016 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
