The movie's latest charity video captures director J.J. Abrams wondering where Luke actually is while also hinting that fans may have a glimpse at the Jedi next week.

AceShowbiz - While the return of Han Solo and Leia have been heavily teased in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" pictures and videos, Luke Skywalker is noticeably absent in the marketing for the movie. The movie's latest charity video sees director J.J. Abrams wondering where Luke actually is while also hinting that fans may have a glimpse at the Jedi next week.

Abrams collaborated with Omaze in a charity program called Force for Change. In the two-minute video, Abrams explains that by donating just $10 or more, fans can win a chance to join the cast at the red carpet premiere of the movie in Hollywood or London.

The video also shows almost all of cast members declaring that they support some particular worthy causes. At the end of the trailer, Abrams asks, "But where is Mark Hamill?" before the words "To Be Continued Next Week" pop in the screen. Harrison Ford isn't in the video either, but he did appear in his own promotional Omaze video.

Set 30 years after the Battle of Ender at the end of "Return of the Jedi", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses and Jedi.

Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis are also in the lineup. The sci-fi movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
