AceShowbiz - Previously revealing her willingness to record a duet with sister Dannii Minogue, Kylie Minogue finally has her dream comes true. She reportedly has secretly recorded a duet with her younger sister for her disco-influenced Christmas album.
Mirror Online reported that Kylie has met with Dannii for secret recording sessions last month when Dannii was in the UK for her live shows at London's G-A-Y nightclub and headlining Manchester Pride. The sisters were said to be planning to cover Wham!'s "Last Christmas", but not yet decided which song they will use.
"Minogue fans have long wanted a duet between the two sisters, but Kylie never felt it was the right time. Also, her management tried to avoid it because they considered the pair were in different leagues," Mirror Online quoted a source as saying. "But now Dannii's profile is buoyed by her 'X Factor' judging duties and Kylie is management-free, she feels it's a no-brainer. They did a couple of songs, but are waiting to see which one comes out best."
There hasn't any single comment issued by either Kylie or Dannii regarding the duet. Should the report is true, the duet will mark their second time working together for an album following their collaboration in 2008 when they recorded a cover of ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All" for TV comedy drama "Beautiful People".
