The NBA legendary star and the Virgin Group founder are in the mix to take over 'The Celebrity Apprentice' along with Mark Cuban.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump replacement on "The Celebrity Apprentice" may have been revealed. NBA legend and L.A. Dodgers co-owner, Magic Johnson, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban reportedly "are all being discussed" to take over the seat left vacant by the real estate mogul.

However, it may seem unlikely for Branson and Cuban to take the job. A source close to Cuban tells Us Weekly that he's "not interested. He thinks [his ABC series] Shark Tank is a way better show and loves being a part of it." A rep for Branson says, "Richard has a very busy schedule of worldwide commitments that would not enable him to do this."

Donald Trump was fired from the "Apprentice" after his controversial anti-Mexican comments. "At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values," the network explained. "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."
