The mother of one performed a piano-driven rendition of Parton's hit while her 'Piece by Piece' tour stopped in Albuquerque on Thursday night, August 27.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson continued the tradition of covering a song by another artist on her ongoing "Piece by Piece" tour when she made a stop in Albuquerque on Thursday night, August 27. The singer wowed the crowd with a stripped-down version of Dolly Parton's hit "Jolene".
The song was requested by a fan named Robert Nunez, who happened to be right in front of Clarkson when she introduced the song. The former "American Idol" winner then showcased her signature vocals over minimal piano which replaced the twangy guitar licks from the original.
Clarkson has been on her "Piece by Piece" show which was launched earlier this summer in support of her latest chart-topping album of the same title. She's covered fan-favorite songs by everyone from The Weeknd, NSYNC and Maroon 5 to Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez at her shows.
