AceShowbiz - Antonio Banderas is back to school. The 55-year-old actor is looking to master fashion design to add to his range of talents. He has enrolled at Central Saint Martins, a London prestigious fashion school that produced Christopher Kane, Alexander Wang, and John Galliano.
The father of one shares a picture from his class on Twitter and Instagram, "The 2nd week of studies at Central St Martin begins. Intense, exciting, serious and fun all the same time." A spokeswoman for the school explains to WWD, "[Banderas is] starting from scratch and learning the basics of bespoke tailoring."
"It's something that has been on my mind for a long time," he said on TV talk show "Loose Women". "[Central St. Martins] is probably one of the best schools in the world ... and so I am going to start studying with them ... I need knowledge to take steps in that territory."
He added, "It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality. Of course, I won't stop my professional life, I'll continue acting, directing - but this is a new thing."
