Rebecca Ferguson Boards 'The Girl on the Train'

Ferguson is on board starring as one of the female leads in the movie named Anna.

AceShowbiz - Rebecca Ferguson (II), best recognized for starring as the female lead in "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation ", is in talks to star in the upcoming "The Girl on the Train (2017)". She is joining previously announced cast Emily Blunt, who has been tapped to portray Rachel, an alcoholic recent divorcee who fantasizes about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day.

As for Ferguson, she will be on board playing the role of Anna, the new wife of Rachel's ex husband, Deadline reported. The third female lead in the movie is Megan, who is the woman that Rachel fantasizes about. The part has yet to be cast.

"The Girl on the Train (2017)" is set to be directed by Tate Taylor based on the novel by Paula Hawkins. Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the script and Marc Platt is producing the film, with Jared LeBoff and Celia Costas serve as the exec producers. Release date has not yet been set.
