AceShowbiz - Naomi Watts is close to scoring her next starring vehicle. The "King Kong" actress is in negotiations to star in "Book of Henry" which has best-selling novelist Gregg Hurwitz penning the script.
The movie's plot is still kept under wrap, Deadline reports. The project is put on fast track after director Colin Trevorrow scored big with "Jurassic World". The pic about prehistoric predators clocked in at around $1.5 billion worldwide.
Watts is also hot on the market with her role in Jean-Marc Vallee's Toronto Film Festival opener "Demolition" and Lionsgate's upcoming "Divergent" sequel "Allegiant - Part 1".
Shooting of "Book of Henry" is expected to start next month in New York. Focus Features is financing and will handle the release of the film. Sidney Kimmel of Sidney Kimmel Entertainment is co-producing with Double Nickel Entertainment's Jenette Kahn and Adam Richman.
