The track, which may or may not appear on Timbo's 'Opera Noir' album, features the 'Empire' star who's also signed to the rapper/producer's Mosley Music Group.

AceShowbiz - Timbaland surprised fans on Tuesday, August 11 with his first solo music in a while. The rapper/producer shared a new song called "Smile" which is a duet with "Empire" star V. Bozeman, who is also signed to his Mosley Music Group.

Timbo and Bozeman share the vocal duties on the mid-tempo tune, trading lines about being there for each other over the soulful beat. "If you're there then I'm happy/ If you're not then I'm crappy," they sing before adding in the chorus, "I know that we gon' make it when I see you smile/ So let me turn that frown upside down/ Let's just toast to love that we found."

It's currently unclear whether or not "Smile" will be featured on "Opera Noir", Timbo's new album which will mark his first in nearly six years. First announced more than a year ago, the forthcoming LP is due out later this year.

In addition to "Opera Noir", he's planning to put out unreleased material from Aaliyah. He recently announced that he had never-before-heard music from the late superstar which he wanted to share with the world.
