AceShowbiz - Aretha Franklin's Friday, August 14 show in Las Vegas is no longer scheduled to happen as planned. The veteran diva has just announced that she's rescheduling the gig supposed to take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace because of exhaustion.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 11, Franklin explained that she made the decision after driving her bus from Detroit to the West Coast for concerts. "I thank all of my fans, friends and supporters who bought tickets. I hope to see you all soon," she added.

Franklin has been traveling across the country following the release of her latest album, "Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics". The record, which finds her covering songs by fellow female artists like Adele, Alicia Keys and Barbra Streisand, arrived back in October 2014.

Franklin most recently performed at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on Monday night. The show marked her first in the Bay area in nearly 40 years. "I just want to say what a treat it's been for me to come back to Oakland after all these years," she said during the concert. "What a wonderful time we had tonight."
