The 'Mission: Impossible' actor accidentally revealed that his fellow actor would take part in the upcoming 'Star Wars' film.

AceShowbiz - Daniel Craig's secret role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been revealed. It was Simon Pegg who accidentally leaked the information while doing an interview with The Sun newspaper at the premiere of "Man Up" in London.

When being asked about his rumored role in the next "Star Wars" movie, Pegg answered, "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper." Realizing his mistake, he quickly admitted, "I shouldn't have said that."

The "Skyfall" actor has long been rumored to have a small part in the upcoming movie, but until now there is no official detail about how and who his character will be. A source close to Craig said, "Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is directed by J.J. Abrams. It will hit theaters in the U.S. on December 18. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are back as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia respectively. They are joined by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and more.
