Report: 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Sequel to Be Titled 'Half-Shell'

J.J. Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers, who is set to star in the upcoming film, claims the sequel will be dubbed 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half-Shell'.

AceShowbiz - As production of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" has been slated to be kicked off next month, reports are mounting that the upcoming flick will be titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half-Shell". It was J.J. Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers who broke the news while on Grantland's "The Lowe Post" podcast.

The revealed title has not yet been officially confirmed by Paramount Pictures. Redick himself also did not share further details about the sequel, which will see him starring alongside several of his teammates and players from the New York Knicks, including Austin Rivers, Matt Barnes, Spencer Hawes, and DeAndre Jordan.

In addition to the above mentioned stars, the cast ensemble is set to see Megan Fox reprising her role of April O'Neil along with William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form will return to produce the upcoming sequel which features a script by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. Set to be directed by David Green, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is slated for release on June 3, 2016.
