The Red Ranger of 'Power Rangers Wild Force' got into a violent altercation with his roommate, resulting in the death of the latter.

AceShowbiz - Ricardo Medina Jr. is facing murder charges. The actor who played the Red Ranger on 2002's "Power Rangers Wild Force" and returned to the franchise as Deker on "Power Rangers Samurai" was taken into police custody Saturday afternoon, January 31 in Palmdale, Calif.

Medina Jr. reportedly got involved in an altercation with his roommate named Joshua Sutter. He decided to retreat to his bedroom with his girlfriend, but Sutter forced his way into the room. The 37-year-old star retaliated and stabbed Sutter with a sword in the abdomen.

The actor, who is the son of Brazilian boxer Ricardo Medina, called 911 and waited for the cops to arrive. He was ultimately arrested and booked for murder, while Sutter was taken to hospital and pronounced dead. According to TMZ, Medina Jr.'s bail is set at $1 million.
