The raptress, who previously worked with Perry for a remix to 'Last Friday Night', will reportedly join the pop superstar and her other guest Lenny Kravitz at the February 1 event.

AceShowbiz - The other guest for Katy Perry's headlining show at the Super Bowl XLIX may have been revealed. A source has just told The Associated Press that it's Missy Elliott who will join the pop diva and the previously-announced guest Lenny Kravitz at the highly-anticipated show set for this weekend.

Representatives for both the NFL and Perry have not confirmed or denied the report. The 29-year-old superstar previously worked with Elliott on a remix to the hit "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" from her 2010 album "Teenage Dream".

The news came just hours after Perry teased the surprise guest during a press conference. "I'm very excited about this guest," she said. "Because I thought long and hard about it and wanted to kinda bring someone back, like a throwback of sorts, that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is it will be a real female-fun night."

"It's a bit old school," she continued. "But I think when this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt. There will be faces melting when she steps on the stage."

The Super Bowl XLIX will be broadcast on Sunday, February 1 from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. During the conference, the "Roar" hitmaker also told reporters that she's more than ready for the performance, which she said she'd been designing for months.

"It's a larger than life show. I've collaborated on everything. There is not a diamond on a shoe that has not gone past my eyes. I'm so prepared for this show that I even had time for Netflix the other night," she revealed.
