AceShowbiz - Michelle Williams has sold a Brooklyn house she once shared with her late partner Heath Ledger. According to a real estate blog 6sqft, the "Brokeback Mountain" actress sold her Boerum Hill brownstone for $8.8 million. She and Ledger bought the property which features six bedrooms, a laundry room, custom wine cellars, a three-car garage and landscaped roof deck back in 2005 reportedly for $4.4 million.
After Ledger passed away in 2008, she and their daughter Matilda continued living in the house. It was first listed in September for $7.5 million. The mother and daughter reportedly are now going to reside in Los Angeles to support her movie career.
Williams finished her Broadway show "Cabaret" in November with Emma Stone taking over her role as Sally Bowles. Her latest movie is WWII drama "Suite Francaise". Focusing on a romance between a French villager and a German soldier, the romantic film also features appearances from Sam Riley, Kristin Scott Thomas and Margot Robbie. It is set for release on January 23.
Williams was most recently photographed a few days ahead of the Christmas Day. Wearing green coat and jeans, the 34-year-old award-winning star was seen carrying some wrapped presents.
