The 'Ant-Man' star will appear in two episodes of the upcoming seventh season, reprising his role as Bobby Newport.

AceShowbiz - Another A-list star is scheduled to pay a visit to "Parks and Recreation" before it ends its run next year. Paul Rudd, who stars in Marvel's movie "Ant-Man" due July 17, 2015, will reprise his role as professional manchild and Sweetums heir Bobby Newport in two episodes of the show's final season.

"He's the world's nicest human being-and the funniest," executive producer Michael Schur tells EW about the "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" star. "We made a list of all the people that we wanted to have back and he was high on the list, so we managed to snag him."

On how the sitcom will bring back Rudd's Bobby, Schur shares, "Ben [Adam Scott] needs to fill a certain position and he thinks that Bobby might be a good candidate."

Rudd filmed his upcoming guest-starring appearance at the same time he shot the upcoming superhero film. He was previously featured in four episodes of the NBC series' season 4 as Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) rival in the run for a City Council seat.

The 13-episode season 7 of "Parks and Rec" premieres Tuesday, January 13 at 8 P.M. on NBC. Former series regulars Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones as well as guest star Jon Hamm are also set to return for the final season.
