One team is eliminated midway through the season finale, while the remaining three teams are neck-to-neck in the final challenge.

AceShowbiz - After traveling through 20 cities in eight countries across the globe, the remaining teams on "The Amazing Race 25" returned to the States in the season finale. The episode began with four teams as no one was eliminated in the previous leg.

While Amy DeJong and Maya Warren who finished fourth in the previous episode benefited from the twist, the other three teams were not happy with this. "It's kind of frustrating that they weren't eliminated," said Adam Dirks.

The four teams were headed for Los Angeles from Manila. Upon arriving in L.A., they had to drive themselves to City Hall. They all got lost except for the Soul Surfers, Adam & Bethany Hamilton.

At City Hall, they got the next direction which led them to the Southwest Marine Warehouse. There, they had to find a film assistant director on set who gave them the next clue, which was a Roadblock that challenged them to be "a Hollywood action hero."

The teams had to train with a stunt coordinator before perfoming an action stunt where they picked up a satchel and then jumped out of a warehouse through a fake second story window. The Roadblock was also an elimination point and Brooke Adams & Robbie Strauss who arrived last were eliminated.

Three teams moved on to the next challenge, which was another Roadblock at the United States Coast Guard base on Terminal Island. They had to participate in a search and rescue exercise, swimming to an Oscar dummy, setting off a smoke flare, and bringing the Oscar dummy back to the rescue boat. All three teams finished nearly at the same time.

The next clue sent them to Conglobal Industries and they faced another Roadblock. This time, the teams had to search nine shipping containers labeled with the names of cities that they visited on the race, alongside color-coded numbers for each team. They must memorize the numbers and report back to the Yard Foreman in the order they visited the cities.

Once they got it right, they received the next clue which led them to the Finish Line at the Point Vicente Light in Rancho Palos Verdes. Amy memorized the nine-digit combination in one shot, so she and her partner Maya headed to the Pit Stop first.

Amy and Maya arrived first and won the $1 million prize. Misti & Jim Raman finished in the second place, and the Surfers finished third but they're happy anyway. "I mean money is nice, but to know that our love is intact...I wouldn't trade it for a million dollars. Okay, but a million would be nice, I have to say," Adam & Bethany said.

Having just aired the season 25 finale, CBS is already preparing for the next installment which will premiere in February. It has been announced that the contestants in the upcoming 26th season are all dating couples, five of whom are on a blind date race around the world. New Kids on the Block's star Jonathan Knight joins the race with his longtime girlfriend Harley Rodriguez.
