AceShowbiz - Miguel is the latest musician to pull a Beyonce Knowles. Early on Friday morning, December 19, the R&B singer unexpectedly posted on his SoundCloud a new EP consisting of three sultry songs including a collaboration with rap legend Kurupt called "NWA".
The slow-tempo track, which serves as the opener of the EP, finds Miguel singing mostly in falsetto. Kurupt joins him midway through the song, delivering his silky verse over the knocking drums and electric guitar strokes.
Other songs on the set are "Hollywood Dreams" and "Coffee". The latter, a guitar-driven ballad, was first teased by Miguel with a preview on Instagram back in October.
Miguel is currently working on his second album, the follow-up to 2012 Grammy-nominated "Kaleidoscope Dream". Most Recently, he appeared alongside The Chemical Brothers and Lorde on "This Is Not a Game" from the soundtrack of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1". He can also be heard on "Good Lovin" off Ludacris' "Burning Bridges" EP.
