The 39-year-old actress opened up about her recent wedding to Brad, being a newlywed and what it was like directing her husband in the movie 'By the Sea'.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie opened up to Tom Brokaw on "Today" on Tuesday, November 25 about her recent wedding to Brad Pitt. Angelina admitted that her relationship with Brad did feel different after they got married back in August.

"It did change, in just a feeling of that security and comfort that we always had but recommitting after 10 years of being together," the "Maleficent" actress told Tom, "We were fortunate enough to be in that unusual situation we got married with our children, and they were part of the ceremony and they wrote some of the vows."

She added, "So, it was all of us agreeing to be together and to just commit to this life together-not because we had to, not because anything was missing in our lives-but because we were absolutely sure. We felt that much of a family and it was that moment. It was really lovely. It was a lovely day."

Angelina said she had been trying to please Brad more since their marriage. "I think we have more moments where I'll say, 'I'm going to be a better wife. I'm going to cook,' " she shared, "And he says, 'Oh, honey. Just know what you're good at. Know what you're not.' But I do like, 'No, no, no, I'm going to get this wife thing down.' He knows my limitations and where I'm a good wife and a good mom."

Soon after they tied the knot, Angelina and Brad went to Malta to film "By the Sea". Tom asked the "Salt" actress, "Is it hard working with your husband?" Angelina laughed and replied, "There's a really correct answer to this, I'm sure. It was actually great. The first film we did together [Mr and Mrs Smith], we weren't together. And it was a comedy and it had a lot of action and it was really fun."

"Ten years on, we've learned a lot more about each other, and it's a film about a very troubled marriage. So, it felt like the appropriate thing to do on our honeymoon," she joked, "I think there's also something to... there's so many ideas of what art should be, and this kind of movie or that kind of movie, and we just wanted to be free. We wanted to be free. We wanted to play. We wanted to try things. We wanted to push each other. We wanted to be artists and see what we could make."

Tom then asked Angelina, "You didn't say, 'Stop, Brad is gonna have to take another on that one.' ?" The "Unbroken" producer and director replied and smiled, "I'm sure I had moments with the actor, and I'm sure he had many moments with the director."
