The group's sixth studio effort will be available everywhere on January 20, 2015 via DCD2/Island Records while its title track will arrive digitally on December 8.

AceShowbiz - Fall Out Boy's new album is coming out soon. The band announced on Monday, November 24 that their sixth studio effort, "American Beauty/American Psycho", would be available everywhere starting on January 20, 2015. Pre-orders begin on December 15.

Patrick Stump and his mates introduced the follow-up to last year's "Save Rock and Roll" in a post on their official website. "Now we are inside you like a disease. This is a modern love story- coming together and unravelling all at once," read some lines in the post.

FOB has previewed "American Beauty/American Psycho" with "Centuries" and the title track. The former was released as the lead single earlier this year. It peaked at No. 22 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

The latter, meanwhile, was debuted on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program shortly before the band announced the new full-length. Serving as the new U.K. single, the track will be released digitally on December 8.

"It's a little bit wrong but it's the right thing for us to do," FOB's Pete Wentz told Lowe of the song. "Once we got that song and a few others, it really felt like the record came together as a body of work."
