According to a recent rumor, the 'Gravity' actor and his wife are planning to adopt a child, but a representative for Clooney says the story is '100 percent fabricated.'

AceShowbiz - George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are not planning to adopt a child despite reports claiming otherwise. A representative for the "Gravity" star has responded to recent rumors claiming that he and his wife were looking to adopt an orphan, telling Gossip Cop that the story was "100 percent fabricated."

Australia's Woman's Day magazine started the story which then was widely spread on Tuesday, November 18. Citing an unnamed source, they said Clooney and his wife were planning for an "adoption to highlight the plight of orphans in countries like Syria."

The star of "The Monuments Men" and the British human rights lawyer tied the knot in front of family and friends including Matt Damon and his wife Luciana, Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Vogue's Anna Wintour and Bill Murray in Venice, Italy in September.

In late October, the pair had another wedding celebration in England. The intimate event, which was attended by family members who could not make it to their wedding in Venice, took place at the Danesfield House Hotel which overlooks the Thames river. "We are all very happy. We're so looking forward to celebrating Amal and George's marriage here. This is a lovely place for it. It will be very special," the lawyer's mother Baria told The Telegraph.
