The Tywin Lannister depicter confirms there have been rumblings of adapting the George R. R. Martin story for the big screen.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" movie may get a big-screen treatment. Charles Dance who played wealthy Lord Tywin Lannister on the HBO hit series lets it slip that the producers have been actively discussing a possible movie adaptation.

"There's talk of eventually trying to do a feature film," the 68-year-old English actor opens up in a new interview with The Daily Beast. He continues, "But I don't know which of the storylines. There's so much to cram into a film."

Based on George R. R. Martin's fantasy novel series, "Game of Thrones" has just finished its fourth season. The next cycle is expected to debut next year and will continue with the sixth one. Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are among the regulars.

Dance's character was killed off in the last episode of season 4. "It was a pretty ignominious death," he said. He is expected to briefly return for season 5. "Well, only my body!" he said of his upcoming cameo, before jokingly adding, "I don't wake up in the shower having had a dream about it all."
