The singer co-wrote and sang title track 'Big Eyes' and another song titled 'I Can Fly' for the movie that opens in U.S. theaters on December 25.

AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey has two new songs on the soundtrack of Tim Burton's upcoming movie "Big Eyes". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first song is named after the movie's title and the second one is called "I Can Fly".

The former, written by Del Rey along with Daniel Heath, appears midway through the movie. The latter, meanwhile, was written along with "West Coast" co-writer/producer Rick Nowels and is playing over the end credits.

"Big Eyes" is opening in U.S. theaters on December 25. It stars Amy Adams as Margaret Keane, the American artist whose iconic '50s and '60s paintings of big-eyed children were falsely credited to her then-husband Walter.

"Tim showed her the film and she fell in love with it... Women in particular seem to get the movie, and Lana really got the movie. The whole thing is about a woman who can't find her voice," said "Big Eyes" producer and co-writer Larry Karaszewski. "Lana's song expresses what Margaret is feeling so perfectly, it's like a soliloquy of her inner thoughts."

This won't be Del Rey's first time to record a song for a movie. Last year, she made a contribution to the soundtrack of "The Great Gatsby", performing "Young and Beautiful" that should have earned her an Oscar nomination.
