Dave Chappelle Wants to Play 'the First Black Guy to F**k Olivia Pope on 'Scandal' '

The 41-year-old comedian, who has made his official return to Hollywood after taking a hiatus in 2005, also wants to play a zombie on 'The Walking Dead' and a corpse on 'CSI'.

AceShowbiz - Dave Chappelle, who was named one of GQ's Men of the Year, talks about his plan on returning to television in an interview with the magazine for its December issue. He tells the publication, "For one year, I want to do this thing where I guest-star on as many television shows as I possibly can. I love television."

"The fact that television ultimately made me famous was very gratifying for me," he explains, "Chris Tucker did it in movies, and Chris Rock did it from his stand-up, which was very impressive. But you know, the thing that people most will remember me for is 'Chappelle's Show'. If I were to never do anything else, that show would be a culmination of what was a very long and tedious process of me learning how to be in the television business."

When asked what shows he wants to guest-star on, Dave replies, "I'd be a zombie in 'The Walking Dead'. A corpse on 'CSI'. I'd be the first black guy to f**k Olivia Pope on 'Scandal'."

In the interview, Dave, who worked the Donald Sterling scandal into a performance at Radio City earlier this year, also gives his views on the scandal. "Ultimately, I don't think he should have lost his team," he says, "I don't like the idea that someone could record a secret conversation and that a person could lose their assets from that, even though I think what he said was awful."

"When you think about the intimacy of a situation, like, can a man just chill with his mistress in peace?* I just don't like when things like that happen, because if they take s**t away for things that people say that are objectionable, I may not have anything in a few years. Granted, I don't think I say s**t like 'Stop bringing white people to my game,' " he adds.

The comedian, who has made his official return to Hollywood after taking a hiatus in 2005, reveals where he went and why he's back for good. "You know, for a while, I was kind of sequestered," he says, "Well, sequestered is not the right word. It was more like Superman's self-imposed exile."

Dave, who took a trip to South Africa after taking a break from his show, said he never intended to leave show business for good. "People are always like, 'I heard you moved to Africa.' And in reality I was only there for about two weeks," he shares, "I was on 'vacation.' I don't want to be too specific, but it wasn't even like I necessarily left. I wasn't like, 'I'm leaving and I'm never coming back.' It wasn't necessarily that kind of thing. But then there was a sequence of events... and ten years later, here we are."
