The 'Frozen' actress wants her lover to still remember her when they can't be together during the holiday on the track she recorded with the a capella group.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Bell already got in the Christmas spirit. On Monday, November 17, the actress gave Ryan Seacrest the green light to premiere a modern holiday song titled "Text Me Merry Christmas" that she recorded with a capella group Straight No Chaser.

The song, which arrived along with its accompanying lyric video, opens with Bell talking to her lover who won't be there with her during the holiday. "This holiday you'll be far away/ And I'll be all alone/ So please remember this December/ To fully charge your phone," she tells him.

She then asks him to text her Merry Christmas just to let her know he cares. "Just a word or two/ Of text from you/ Will remind me you're still there," she sings before adding that she'll be happy with just simple emojis or even misspelled words.

"We wanted a Christmas song that spoke to how informal communication has become," Straight No Chaser's Randy Stine told RyanSeacrest.com. "[Bell] nailed every note and delivered the lyrics with the perfect comedic tone. We were hanging on her every word ... when we weren't looking at our phones."
