The British DJ and his collaborator don '80s attire while dancing through the streets and hitting a beauty salon to get their hair permed.

AceShowbiz - Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars gave their retro collaboration "Uptown Funk" an equally retro music video. Debuted on Monday, November 17, the fun-filled clip finds the duo taking over the streets in '80s outfits.

While Ronson mostly appears in the background, Mars takes the spotlight. Donning a pink suit and a hat, the Hawaii-born superstar is joined by his crew as he sings and busts out some choreography. In other scenes, Mars and his team are seen getting their hair permed and their shoes shined.

"Uptown Funk" was released last week. It's the lead cut off Ronson's forthcoming "Uptown Special" album that's due out on January 27, 2015. "That song took a lot of work," the British DJ said of the track in an interview on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest".

"It took seven months of chasing him around the world on tour and a lot of blood sweat and tears, but I'm very proud of it. I love it. It's one of my favorite things I've ever done," he added. "I think that Bruno just - with the lyrics and the vocal delivery - he makes it so it's not too throwback-y. I guess I love all those things. I guess love live instruments, I love horns, but I also love DJing and playing records in the club that sound amazing. So, we tried to make a hybrid of all those things."

Ronson and Mars are performing the song when they appear as musical guests on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
