AceShowbiz - "Miss Julie" gets a new trailer, highlighting the love-hate relationship between Jessica Chastain's Miss Julie and Colin Farrell's John. One scene shows them locking lips in a passionate embrace in a secluded place, while some others see her coldly ordering him around.
Miss Julie is an aristocratic woman who plays fire with her father's valet, John. She seduces him right under the nose of his fiancee. Held together by mutual loathing and attraction, Julie and John explore the brutal, flirtatious power struggle, leading them to the battle of the sexes and classes.
Based on the 1888 Swedish play of the same name, the film is directed by Liv Ullmann based on her own screenplay. The adaptation will hit limited theaters in the U.S. starting December 5.
