The sophomore comedy, which also stars Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges, will film one more episode before shutting down production.

AceShowbiz - "The Millers" will soon bid farewell to viewers. CBS has pulled the plug on the comedy series starring Will Arnett, Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges, just weeks into its second season.

The sitcom will film one more episode before the production is shut down. A new episode is scheduled to air this Monday, November 17, but it's unclear if the remaining completed episodes beyond that will air.

"The Millers" has been struggling in the ratings in its sophomore run, averaging 7.3 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. It's down from the first season which averaged 10.9 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in the ad demo with a "The Big Bang Theory" lead-in.

"The Millers" joins other comedies, including "Manhattan Love Story" and "Selfie" on ABC and "A to Z" and "Bad Judge" on NBC, which can't survive the chopping block this season.
