The actress, who is gearing up for the release of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1', is mobbed by fans outside a studio when she signs autographs.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence had a bit fan scare recently. The 24-year-old Oscar winner was protected by her bodyguard when a barrier separating her and a throng of fans collapsed due to the pressure from her over-excited admirers outside "Late Show with David Letterman" studio on Wednesday, November 12.

The actress, who is gearing up for the release of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1", can be seen giving fans autographs in a video taken from the area. She was going to her car, but then decided to get back to see more fans in other side. The "Silver Linings Playbook" star, who was sporting an all-black outfit, was quickly whisked away by her bodyguards when the crowd started surging towards her.

During her chat with David Letterman, Lawrence shared that she was not confident with her singing skill. "I do not like singing in front of other people, that's like my biggest fear," she admitted. "I cried on set that day [when I had to sing] and apparently I'm crying all the time. That was awful."

"I'm like scarred from my childhood because I have a southern mother who would just tell me that I was amazing at everything, that I could do everything. But, I can't," she added. The actress also had a chance to sit on Letterman's chair to introduce a clip from "Mockingjay".
