AceShowbiz - Lorde played a cover of Jeremih's hit "Don't Tell 'Em" when she stopped by BBC Radio One's "Live Lounge" on Thursday, November 13. Accompanied by a band, the New Zealand native gave the club anthem a dark makeover while showing off her signature dance moves in the studio.

"I have basically been a really big fan of this song since I first started hearing it around," the 18-year-old singer explained why she chose to cover the song. "I love the vocal melodies. I think they're really smart and just consider them cool. It's quite a saucy song and I think it would be interesting to flip the dynamic and make that power mine."

"Don't Tell 'Em", produced by DJ Mustard and featuring rapper YG, was released in June for Jeremih's "Late Nights: The Album". The song peaked at No. 6 on Billboard Hot 100.

During her visit to "Live Lounge", Lorde also performed "Yellow Flicker Beat" from the upcoming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" sountrack which she curated. The set, which also incudes tracks by The Chemical Brothers, CHVRCHES and Ariana Grande, is slated for release on November 18.
