Report: Christoph Waltz Joins 'Bond 24' in Villainous Role
Movie

There's a rumor floating around that the actor has signed up for a 'nemesis of sorts' role in the action movie.

AceShowbiz - Christoph Waltz's name is linked to the latest James Bond film. The two-time Oscar winner reportedly has signed up to star in "Bond 24" as possibly the villain, replacing Chiwetel Ejiofor whose deal did not go through.

The report came from Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye who had given solid 007 clues in the past. Neither MGM, Sony nor Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli's Eon had comment on the news. Bamigboye said Waltz would have "significant" role in the movie but "it's not immediately evident whether the part's friend, or foe, or a bit of both."

Daniel Craig will return for the fourth time as the British spy, starring opposite Ralph Fiennes as the new M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as gadget tech Q. Lea Seydoux is the Bond girl while Dave Bautista is the henchman.

"Skyfall" helmer Sam Mendes is directing the pic using the script by John Logan and a rewrite by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Filming begins next month in such locations as in Mexico, Austria, Morocco, Italy and London. The pic is scheduled for theatrical release on November 6, 2015.
