Some of Leonardo's A-list friends including Tobey Maguire, Jonah Hill, Robin Thicke, Kevin Connolly, Tyrese and Adam Levine joined in the private bash in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his 40th birthday with his A-list friends on Tuesday night, November 11 at the Soho House in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The private party was attended by 100 guests including Jonah Hill, Tobey Maguire, Kevin Connolly, Emile Hirsch, Adam Levine, Tyrese Gibson, Russell Simmons and Robin Thicke.

A source at the bash told PEOPLE, "Leo made sure the party had started by the time he arrived around 11 P.M. It wasn't a crazy party. Guests danced and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres." The source added that the star of "The Wolf of Wall Street" left the bash at around 1:30 A.M. and headed to another celebration at a private house afterwards. Leonardo's girlfriend, Toni Garrn, was not seen at the party because she is currently in Berlin for work.

Earlier this year, Leonardo told ShortList about turning 40. "I suppose 40 represents something different, but I've been thinking about being 40 for so long that I'm prepared for it," the "Django Unchained" actor shared, "It seems like the age barometer where you're still considered youthful is getting higher and higher. I'm going to hold on to that ideal as long as I can."

Leonardo can be seen in upcoming flick "The Revenant" along with Tom Hardy, Will Poulter and Domhnall Gleeson. The thriller flick is set to hit U.S theaters on December 25, 2015.
