The country superstar notices a fan named Teresa Shaw who brings a sign which reads, 'Chemo This Morning. Garth Tonight. Enjoying The Dance,' to his concert.

AceShowbiz - A Garth Brooks fan had a memorable night at the country super star's recent concert. At his Friday, November 7 show at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Brooks noticed the fan named Teresa Shaw who was battling cancer and serenaded her before giving her his guitar.

Brooks, who recently released his album "Man Against Machine", apparently noticed her holding up the sign which read, "Chemo This Morning. Garth Tonight. Enjoying The Dance," as she stood close to the stage. Shaw said an usher helped her to the spot after he read the sign. "The next thing I knew, another usher was coming up to me and were like, 'Follow us.' And they took me to the very front, right in front of [Brooks]," she told KARE-11.

Brooks then walked to the edge of the stage and sat in front of her. After singing the song, he gave her a kiss on the forehead and told the audience packing the venue, "God just stuck his hand out and wrote this ... You have all my strength, you have everybody's strength in here and you go kick cancer's ass!"

He also gave her his guitar. "To give away something like that is just remarkable, and now if I ever have a bad day, I can always go look at his guitar and get inspiration," Shaw told the news outlet of Brooks' moving gesture.
