Joshua Leonard, who starred opposite Vera Farmiga in indie movie 'Higher Ground', will play a community college psych professor on the A and E drama series.

AceShowbiz - Another actor checks into "Bates Motel" in season 3. Joshua Leonard, who is best known for his role in 1999's "The Blair Witch Project", has landed a guest stint in the upcoming season of the A&E drama series.

According to TVLine, Leonard will play "James Finnigan, a community college psych professor whose pull towards Norma (Vera Farmiga) slowly chips away at his carefully constructed house of cards." The gig reunites the actor and Farmiga, who played husband and wife in 2011's indie flick "Higher Ground" directed by the actress.

The third season of the "Psycho" prequel series will premiere in March 2015. Other guest stars in the season include Kevin Rahm ("Mad Men") as a man from Romero's (Nestor Carbonell) past, Tracy Spiridakos ("Revolution") as a mystery woman who may or may not cozy up to Dylan (Max Thieriot), and Ryan Hurst ("Sons of Anarchy") as an on-screen rival to Caleb (Kenny Johnson).
