After putting an end to Jonas Brothers last year, the former Disney star is returning with a new solo full length on November 11.

AceShowbiz - The disbandment of Jonas Brothers wasn't the end for Nick Jonas. The 22-year-old singer re-emerged earlier this year as a solo singer after the band he formed with his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas, announced their break-up in late 2013.

"It's like starting over as a brand new artist," he said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone as he discussed his self-titled new album. Set for release on November 11, it will be his first full length since Jonas Brother's "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" (2009) and Nick Jonas & the Administration's "Who I Am" (2010).

Nick then revealed to the site what to expect from the album, which will be his first with a Parental Advisory warning label. "In making this record, I really allowed myself to be vulnerable and open up emotionally," he explained.

"This record is a combination of R&B, soul and pop, with musical influences from legendary artists that I've always admired such as Prince and Stevie Wonder - and more modern artists such as The Weeknd and Jhene Aiko," he added. "My plan is to surprise the world with the unexpected."

"Nick Jonas" features various sounds from the dark "Chains" to the the sexy "Teacher". There are also the poppy "Jealous" and the heartbreaking "Avalanche" which is a collaboration with fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato. To support the effort, Nick has been headlining "Nick Jonas Live" tour that opened last September and will run through December.
